Opened on Easter Sunday 1980 the Church of The Resurrection (RC), Cavehill Road, Belfast had furnishings and artworks designed by many well known Irish artists. Today the Church is closed and has fallen into disrepair - all that remains in situ are the stained glass windows by Patrick Pye... and out door sculptural work by Carolyn Mullholand. Although you need to contact the Parish Office to see her amazing carved panels on the doors to the main enterance as they are currently under lock and key.

Established in 1944 and still producing stained glass today - including many repairs on Harry Clarke Windows - Abbey Glass have amalgamated the older Dublin Glass and Paint company. Stepping into Abbey Glass Studios is a step back in time. Willie kindly took time out from his busy schedule to give me a tour of the studio... where they still have antique glass and use traditional techniques.
